Foundational Qualitative

Qualitative research focuses on collecting and interpreting linguistic and visual data.

It’s used to investigate and analyze the meanings, interpretations, and symbols people attribute to their behavior, actions and interactions with others.  Foundational to good qualitative research is deep curiosity about people, their many facets and dimensions, and how they understand their lives and the world.  Below are some of our favourite resources, examples, and scholars prepared to help introduce you to many of the core methods and skills in the qualitative research toolkit.
