2018 McMaster-Toronto Scrollery

Recently, McMaster hosted the 9th annual Scrollery.

Recently, the Department of Religious Studies hosted the joint McMaster University-University of Toronto Scrollery, which focuses on the Dead Sea Scrolls and related fields. This year Dr. Sarianna Metso (University of Toronto) presented “Altar at Qumran? Yom Kippur in the Rule Texts" and Dr. Daniel Machiela (McMaster University) presented “The Compositional Setting and Implied Audience of Some Aramaic Texts from Qumran: A Working Hypothesis.”
