Topics in Japanese Buddhism
Each week we will read a recent book in Japanese Religious or a related field. When possible we will skype in the authors so that the students can pose their questions directly to them. Students will be expected to provide notes and pose question on the readings each week. Minor assignments to help professionalization will also take place on a regular basis. Students will provide response papers each week.
