Readings in Early Christian Epistolography I
This course will examine the major themes of Paul’s theology as they relate to his Jewish identity and mission to the nations. In particular, emphasis will be given to modern attempts to give a coherent account of Paul's thinking, examining F. C. Baur and the rise of historical critics, the use of Paul in continental philosophy, and the reclamation of Paul as a Jew of his own day.
