Biography
I specialize in media sociology and political sociology, but I do research and teach in other areas as well. I have a particular interest in media issues connected to Canadian society. My research has included studies on the book publishing industry in Canada, the development of Canadian broadcasting legislation, the political aspects of Canadian new coverage, the music industry in Canada, and awards shows in Canada.
