Biography
I completed my Honours B.A. in Anthropology at McMaster University in 2015. My M.A. is in archaeology, where my research will look at archaeological fish remains from numerous sites in the Kingdom of Tonga. I would like to analyze the patterns of variability in fish species abundance between sites and excavated units, as well as looking for change in patterns over time. My research will touch on questions concerning the adequacy of sample size relative to the variability observed within and between sites, degrees of reliance on fisheries, and potential human impact on local fish populations.
