Ayak Wel is a Wilfrid Laurier University class of 2017 graduate, with an Honours Bachelor of Social Work with minors in Indigenous Studies and Human Rights. Ayak volunteered with World University Service of Canada during her time at Laurier, where she participated in campaigns highlighting the refugee crisis. She has a keen interest in international development, particularly working with women and children in situations of conflict or displacement.
