Biography
I received my BS in anthropology from Michigan State University in 2014. My interests are in bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology and its humanitarian applications. My MA research focuses on age estimation of older individuals. Specifically I will be looking at if there is a correlation between the “old age traits” in transition analysis and mandibular ridge resorption that can be used to create narrower age ranges for older individuals in an archaeological sample. I will be using the Lankhills Cemetery skeletal assemblage, a Romano-British archaeological sample, housed in the Museum of Winchester, UK.
