Biography

My current research interests relate to the histology of archaeological bone, and if and how the use of clinical samples and techniques help us to understand what was happening to the skeletal health of past peoples.  Dr. Tracy Prowse is supervising my research as I examine modern and archaeological bone to determine if adult onset anemia can be detected in the post cranial skeleton.  My other interests include forensic anthropology, in particular positive identification of human remains, metabolic bone disease, and natural variation.
