Taffin Ninon, Luminescence Dating
Biography
Ninon is a PhD candidate of UMR 5060 CNRS-Université Bordeaux Montaigne, specifically associated with the https://www.archeosciences-bordeaux.fr/ research facility. Her training is in scientific dating techniques, primarily infrared stimulated luminescence (IRSL) dating, as well as developing protocols for rock surface dating techniques at Stelida, part-funded by a France – Canada Research Grant. Her doctoral research focuses on detailing the Pleistocene chronology of early human activity in the Aegean, with reference to not only Palaeolithic Stelida, but also excavations at Rodafnidia (Lesvos), and in the Inner Ionian Archipelago.
