Biography
Prior to attending university, I was already active in the C.A.W. which was the union at my then part-time job. I graduated with a B.A. in Labour Studies & Psychology (Double Major) from York University in 2005.
I have worked as a National Organizer for SEIU Canada and as a Lead Organizer for CEP. I've been part of a lot of organizing campaigns, the most notable of which is the Justice For Janitors (J4J) campaign in Toronto that led to the unionization of over 1000 janitors working in Toronto and the GTA. I am really looking forward to my grad studies, as I believe that there is so much to learn that can be applied out in the field of organizing and labour relations in general.
