Biography

Martin is interested in the study of the early Jesus Movement, the apostle Paul, and the Second Temple Jewish context of early Christ-belief. Specifically, his main interests lie in the study of the Pauline letters and understanding Paul as a Second Temple Jew who incorporated gentiles into the Jewish Messianic movement in which he was active. Martin is particularly interested in questions of identity in the Pauline assemblies.
