Biography
Irene is enrolled in a PhD in Early Christianity, with a minor in Early Judaism, focusing her work on the interpretation of the Hebrew Bible in the New Testament. Born and raised in Paris, France, she grew up in a Cantonese-speaking family, with her mother tongue being French. She pursued her masters in Nyack, NY. She is particularly interested in examining the intricate relationship between languages, cultures, and interpretive methods in first century Judea.
