Biography
I completed my undergraduate degree at Mount Holyoke College in 2020 with a double major in anthropology and biology. My senior thesis research investigated the nature of reciprocity and biosociality in medical crowdfunding campaigns on GoFundMe.
My overarching research interests are situated at the intersection of critical medical anthropology and digital anthropology. I am most interested in global health finance, health disparities, and digital technologies. My current work at McMaster explores how local public health units have used social media as they respond to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
