Joshua is interested in the nature of technology and the way that it informs ethical and eschatological discourses. In this regard, his intellectual guides have included Grant, Heidegger, Latour, McLuhan, and Illich.  He is also interested in the philosophy of history, particularly via Foucault and MacIntyre.
