Moir Rose
Biography
Rose completed her BA in Anthropology with an Interdisciplinary Minor in Archaeology at McMaster University. During her undergraduate degree at McMaster she participated in archaeological excavations in the Cyclades (Greece) and the U.K. She also worked in the McMaster XRF Laboratory (MAX Lab), where she conducted obsidian characterization studies using Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometry on assemblages from southeastern Turkey and the Cycladic islands. Rose’s current research is focused on the ceramic assemblage from the Freston causewayed enclosure, an Early Neolithic earthen monument in the region of East Anglia in southeast England.
