Mallinson Kristine, Pottery Specialist
Biography
Kristine is a Doctoral Candidate in Art History and Archaeology in the Department of Classics, Archaeology, and Religion at the University of Missouri. Her research primarily focuses on cultural interaction and exchange during the Aegean Bronze Age, with a particular interest on the connections between the Cyclades and Crete. She joined SNAP 2016 in the capacity of trench supervisor, and since 2019 has been a publishing member of the team, working on the handleless (conical) cups from the Minoan type peak sanctuary, material that part-underpins her doctoral thesis project 'High Places' in the Aegean: The Case for Non-Cretan Peak Sanctuaries.
