Biography

Nicole is currently a post-doctoral fellow working on the Gateways Cities Project with Dr. Karen Robson. She received a PhD in Sociology from The University of British Columbia in 2020, where her dissertation research consisted of a multilevel analysis of how post-secondary institutional context impact individual student’s mental health. Her work has been published in the Canadian Review of Sociology, The Canadian Journal of Higher Education and the Canadian Journal of Education. Nicole is also the author of the book "It's All Good (Unless It's Not): Mental Health Tips and Self-Care Strategies for your Undergraduate Years" (UBC Press, 2020).
