Lopez Claudette, GIS Specialist
Biography
Claudette is an MPhil student of Archaeological Science at Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge. She joined SNAP in 2021 as a publishing member and is currently the project surveyor and geospatial analyst. Alongside completing graduate studies, she is also a geospatial consultant at the University of Colorado-Boulder working on the Global Dynamics of Inequality (GINI) project. Her thesis will be focusing on archaeological practices, specifically surveying and geospatial data administration and architecture, implemented in SNAP and how such practices compare to historic and contribute to archaeological practice on Minoan peak sanctuaries. Interests include archaeological visualizations, cognitive artifacts, and digitality in archaeology. Claudette can be contacted at cjl99@cam.ac.uk.
