Karrel Miriam
Biography
I completed my honours BA in social anthropology and environment, sustainability and society at Dalhousie University in 2015. I started research on how atheists cope with death and am looking to extend that research for my master’s thesis. I am interested in how, or if, people without the institutional support offered by religion, with their specific rites of passage, worldviews and frameworks to work through and deal with death, form similar collectives and practices for coping with loss.
