Biography
Dale Johnston is a graduate from McMaster University, class of 2016. She graduated with Honours in a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science. Dale began her Graduate school work at Carleton University before returning home to Hamilton to complete her degree at McMaster. She enjoys studying political economy with a focus on corporate social responsibility, African politics and natural resource development. Dale is hoping to further examine the role of resource extraction in economic development particularly in Sub Saharan Africa. Additionally, while travelling in South-East Asia she became interested in the development of sustainability and ethics in the era of mass consumption which became a significant focus in some of her previous graduate level work.
