Biography
Roomana Hukil has a Ph.D. in International Relations from the Department of Political Science, McMaster University, Canada. Her research interests include environmental politics, global climate negotiations, transnational advocacy and social justice movements. She holds a master’s degree in peace and conflict studies from Jamia Millia Islamia and a B.A. in journalism honours from the University of Delhi. Prior to enrolling at McMaster, Roomana has worked as research assistant at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies for two years in New Delhi, India.
