Biography

I'm Anishinaabe and French-Canadian. Married to Talis Talving-Loza (Totonac, Mexica, Estonian). I graduated with an honours BA in Archaeology (major) and Indigenous Studies (minor) from Trent University in 2013. Currently working with Dr Dawn Martin-Hill on my MA in Cultural Anthropology. My interests are in archaeology, Indigenous women, Indigenous representation (especially within anthropology and history), colonialism, race and ethnicity, misogyny, structural oppression...
