Biography

Tim Heinrichs is a recent graduate from Redeemer University College, having graduated in 2017. He graduated with Honors in Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Studies (Relations), and a minor in Political Science. He enjoys studying global conflict resolution, as well as global cultures/religions and the effects they have on political systems and institutions. During his time at Redeemer University College, he was regularly involved in local political events and functions, including his involvement in volunteering during the lead-up to the 2015 federal election. He has also been active in volunteering with organizations such as L'Arche, Samaritan's Purse, as well as Micah House, a refugee service located in Hamilton. This summer he spent a number of months working at St. Catharines' Salvation Army Booth Centre, providing support and service to homeless individuals throughout the Niagara Region. Tim’s research interests are diverse in nature, though he holds a newfound interest in learning more about religion and the role it plays in our world today, specifically in regards to contemporary conflicts taking place around the world.
