Biography
Landon Fama is a member of McMaster University’s 2018 graduating class. He holds his Hon. B.A. in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law with a minor in Political Science. Landon saw his work ‘Health, Education and the Internet?’ recognized at the 2018 Eastern Michigan University Conference in Philosophy, underlining his interest in the legal and moral considerations created by increasing global connectivity. A deep interest in student life and the larger McMaster community lead Landon to serve extensively within the McMaster Students Union and other student-run groups throughout his undergraduate career. He currently holds a seat on the Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) Clinical Ethics Committee, which provides ethics-based analysis of HHS policy and promotes ethical decision making within all branches of patient care. Landon’s research interests include international law pertaining to non-traditional conflict methods and the legitimacy of international sport as a tool for global social development.
