Jennifer Dustin began the PhD program at McMaster's School of Social Work in 2012. Jennifer received a BA in English and a BSW from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, and in 2011 moved to Hamilton, Ontario to complete her MSW at McMaster University.
Jennifer's practice experience includes work with children, youth and families in non-profit agencies, community development work, school social work, and post-secondary instruction. Largely informed by her practice experience, Jennifer's doctoral studies explore the relationship between public representations and understandings of social work, and social work practice.
