Biography

Dr. Sarah Duignan is a biological anthropologist specializing in medical anthropology and nutrition. She received her PhD in 2021 from McMaster University. Her research has focused on health and wellbeing as it relates to water and food security, working with Indigenous Nations to co-create knowledge that is accessible and culturally relevant for communities. She currently consults with Indigenous Nations to collaboratively develop environmental impact assessments for industry projects and remediation across Canada.
