Biography

Ariel Deluy’s experience spans more than twenty-three (23) years, during which he has been responsible for capital projects, plant retooling, Telecommunications, International Development, and transportation projects. He has also overseen the implementation of enterprise project management systems, building and managing multidisciplinary and highly effective project teams, and providing strategic planning services for several Fortune 100 organizations internationally across industries and sectors.

Ariel's leadership philosophy and consulting approach is based on combining strategy with technology to deliver enduring results for clients. Implementing this approach, he has successfully executed strategic projects for organizations in the construction, telecommunications, manufacturing, automotive, airport and power sectors. He has led major assignments for Metrolinx in the subway expansion projects, WSDOT for the construction Columbia River Crossing projects, Bell Mobility, Hydro One, Webb, and General Motors. He was also involved in change management initiatives and project office restructuring for Caterpillar.

In the public sector, Ariel has worked with CATSA, TSA, and airport authorities throughout Canada and the United States on several successful airport security projects and baggage systems automation.

Ariel is a facilitator at Schulich Business School teaching in the Masters Certificate in Project Management Program. He delivers the Project Planning and Controls, the Effective Cost Management, Risk Management, Quality Management modules. Ariel received his Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Concordia University, and his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Windsor. He is certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PRINCE2. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Edinburgh Business School.
