Shannon is a current PhD student in McMaster’s Department of Anthropology, whose work explores the deep-time historical narratives of Stelida, and how these narratives are translated and presented to public audiences. Shannon joined SNAP in 2015 as an undergraduate assistant and has taken the role of trench supervisor since 2016. Following her master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto in 2018, Shannon became the project’s official museologist, and was a co-curator of Neanderthals on Naxos!, hosted by the Municipality of Naxos in 2018.
