Biography
I completed my BA in honors anthropology at the University of Alberta, where I specialized in recognizing pathological conditions in the skeletal remains of both humans and animals. For my honors thesis, I inferred the domestication status of skeletal canid crania recovered from southern Alberta based on pathological lesions in the teeth. For my MA research at McMaster, my focus has shifted towards human paleopathology and life course analysis.
Outside of academia, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and hanging out with my four cats.
