Chowan James, Adjunct Lecturer

Biography
James’ program of research focuses on the relationship between human resource management practices, such as human capital development and training, and organizational outcomes including innovation and performance. More broadly, he is interested in understanding how workplace practices and employment arrangements contribute to employee outcomes both at an individual and family level. James has published in International Journal of Selection and Assessment, International Journal of Training and Development, and Relations Industrielles / Industrial Relations. He has reviewed for Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences and Human Resource Management (Wiley) journal. He is a current member of the Academy of Management, Administrative Science Association of Canada, and Canadian Industrial Relations Association.
