Biography
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba, where I graduated with a BA in Anthropology and Classical Studies. Through that double major I had the opportunity to extensively explore both Canadian and Mediterranean archaeology. My research interests include landscape archaeology, human-environment interactions, and utilizing GIS technology in archaeology. I am especially interested in how the environments people lived in impacted their daily lives and practices.
I have done field work on two separate research projects: the Basentello Archaeological Research Project (BVARP) in Basilicata, Italy in 2015, and the Stelida Naxos Archaeological Research Project (SNAP) in Naxos, Greece in 2018.
