Biography
Robbie is keenly interested in income support policies – such as social assistance, child benefits, old age pensions and basic income – and how their design shapes outcomes. He is currently supporting the launch of a housing research network and conducting research on the relationship between income inequality, health and other mediating factors. He has previously evaluated a system of Housing First programs designed to end chronic homelessness; supported an innovative economic development program in northeastern Uganda; and co-authored a report on Ontario schools’ standardized test results, accounting for the demographics of their students.
