Rebuilding the Food System; One GMO at a time

I completed my Honours BA at the University of Toronto in 2012. My interests encompass food and agricultural systems, local food networks, political economy, politics of food and nutrition, food security & environmental sustainability. 

My primary interest is to examine the global food system by understanding its economic, social, political, environmental and cultural interconnected processes. With Dr. Kee Yong as my supervisor, my MA research will explore the economic trend of genetically modified organism food and genetically engineered crops against its social and environmental outcomes. I hope to shed light on the future of corporate farming, agribusiness and alternative, sustainable food systems.
