Biography

 

Dr. Md Rashedul Alam is a sociocultural anthropologist. His primary research interests are Bangladesh, borderland, enclaves, statelessness, refugees, citizenship, and social movement. He received his PhD in 2021 from the University of Western Ontario. The India-Bangladesh border enclaves and their politico-legal transformation from statelessness to citizenship are the research focus in his doctoral dissertation. Dr. Rashedul Alam also facilitated diverse applied research projects to analyze the socio-economic partnership among the grassroots communities, government, and NGOs in Bangladesh.
