Biography


Supervisor:  Dr. Mat Savelli

After graduating from McMaster University with a BA (Honours) in Health Studies and Geography, as well as a minor in Mental Health, Addictions, & Society, Aysha is continuing her studies as a MA student in Health & Aging. Under the supervision of Dr. Mat Savelli, Aysha intends to focus her graduate research on the intersection of mental health, gender, and culture by analyzing global mental health interventions.

Research Interests:  Mental Health, Globalization, Global Health, Geography, Gender, Feminist Geographies, Culture, Health Equity, Social Media
