Upcoming Event: Reimagining Care for Newcomer Children & Families

How can we better support the mental health and well-being of newcomer children and families in our community? Please join us to discuss new research findings on barriers to accessible and effective mental health supports for newcomer families and learn how other communities are taking action. Together, we will discuss how lessons learned from research and practice can improve mental health supports for newcomer children and families in Hamilton.

Breakfast will be served from 8.30-9.00am and event proceedings will begin at 9.00am. All organizations including service providers and community groups that promote the mental and emotional well-being of newcomer children and families are invited to participate. We hope you will be able to join us!
