Join us for the latest MIHE and ARMS Seminar: "Broken & Washed Away: An overview of the contribution of climate change, disasters & housing to health in socioeconomically marginalized groups".

Presented by Dr. Julia Woodhall-Melnik, an Associate Professor at the University of New Brunswick in St. John, and co-hosted by MIHE and ARMS, Dr. Woodhall-Melnik will outline some of the disparities that contribute to this situation, why researchers, advocates, and policymakers can no longer ignore the intersection of climate and housing inequities regarding health and well-being, and present an alteration of Health in All Policy approaches to address these effects.

MIHE is a research institute at McMaster University that encourages new inter-disciplinary understandings of the social, economic, cultural, political and bio-physical forces that lead to health inequities.
