Join us for the latest MIHE and ARMS Seminar: "Assessing & Addressing Health Equity in Children's Mental Health: Lessons Learned from Implementing Community Parenting Programs".

Presented by Dr. Andrea Gonzalez, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University, and co-hosted by MIHE and ARMS, Dr. Gonzalez will highlight key considerations of health equity when implementing new community programs. In particular, this talk will focus on discussions surrounding health equity impact assessments as a tool to use prior to implementing programs, our lessons learned through our community work and building community partnerships, as well as identifying and addressing barriers and facilitators to service access for families with young children.
