Biography

Research & Supervisory Interests

Primary interest in the study of determinants of social policy making and social welfare processes, including the following: 1) Study of the development and management of non-profit organizations with particular interest in volunteer activities, children's services and community capacity.  2) Study of social mobility of  low-income families as it affects income maintenance and patterns of income distribution and redistribution in Canada.  3) Housing policy and the provision of housing to low income families.
